Installation Information

The extension installs over the original rubber shift lever tip. If the fit is tight, apply a small amount of soapy water to the original rubber surface and carefully press the extension into position.

If necessary, use a rubber mallet gently to help seat the extension. If the original rubber tip is slightly smaller, a thin rubber or suitable tape layer may be used to create a secure fit.

After installation, make sure the extension is firmly secured and does not rotate, loosen or interfere with gear shifting before riding.
